Orchard Chameleon

Blending-in nature

How can we integrate recreational space into nature without affecting its characteristics?

Situated in a small cherry-orchard, this pavilion tries to blend in. The shape humbly follows the triangular grid of trees to become an integral part of its environment. The pavilion serves the regional cyclists in an area which is being developed as a recreational area for vinex-dwellers. To optimize the integration and rural experience, to be fully surrounded with nature, to be able to grab the cherries directly from the trees the volume is lifted, becoming just another tree crown.
